Financial Auditing and Reporting 2018

Each year, the Comptroller and Auditor General prepares a report which summarises the results of his financial audit work across central
government departments and their arm’s length bodies. This report primarily deals with the results of the audit of 2017-18 accounts, but also reports the outcome of audits for previous accounting periods which the C&AG has certified since his last report. It does not encompass work on bodies within the health and social care sector, which are addressed in a separate report.
