Reducing Costs in The PSNI Report

Today the Comptroller and Auditor General, Kieran Donnelly, released his report on Reducing Costs in The PSNI.

This report examines the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s (PSNI) annual funding reduction between 2010-11 and 2019-20, a reduction more severe than that experienced by most English and Welsh police services over the same period.  This report also examines the challenges in budgeting and funding methods experienced by the PSNI and the methods implemented to over come these challenges
