Like everyone, I am closely monitoring developments on the alarming spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Since the 18th March 2020, the Northern Ireland Audit Office has operated a work from home policy to protect our colleagues and ensure we play our part in limiting this spread. Our IT infrastructure has allowed us to manage the transition relatively smoothly, and maintain close contact with each other and with our partners across the public sector.
During this challenging time, my priority, alongside my statutory responsibilities, is the health and wellbeing of all our employees, their families, and the wider community.
Our colleagues right across the public sector are facing unprecedented pressures and challenges, and this Office is committed to supporting them.
